Pagpag : Philippines’ recycled meat (Video)

There is an English saying that One man’s trash is another man’s treasure. A tragic report from the Philippine capital, Manila justifies this saying to the last word.

Ever wonder what happens to restaurant leftovers? In Manila, meat is recycled from landfill tips, washed and re-cooked.

It's called "pagpag" and it's eaten by the poorest people who can't afford to buy fresh meat.
