Thilan to be the head coach; Labrooy as manager? Featured

Thilan Samaraweera is likely to be appointed head coach of the Sri Lanka team for the series against South Africa.

Also, Graeme Labrooy has been proposed to be manager of the team.

An ICC inquiry is to take place tomorrow (10) against head coach Chandika Haturusinghe, manager Asanka Gurusinghe and captain Dinesh Chandimal, after Sri Lanka refused to take to the field during the second Test against West Indies to protest the ‘changing the condition of the ball’ charge against Chandimal.

The trio are likely to get a maximum of bans for six matches each.

Haturusinghe is presently in Australia.
