The Association's President - Lalith Dharmasekera has told the media that suspending the supply of 95 Octane petrol for three wheelers in the event of a shortage at 92 Octane petrol will create a number of issues.

Dharmasekara said fuel prices increased drastically over the past months, adding three wheeler owners resorted to using 95 Octane petrol in the absence of 92 Octane petrol.

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation had yesterday earlier decided to suspend the supply of 95 Octane petrol for motorcycles and three wheelers considering the current fuel stocks in the country.
