SLPP leaders in trouble for threatening SLBC Deputy Director Featured

It has been reported that a group of workers attached to the Sri Lanka Podujana Peremuna (SLPP) workers' union at Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation (SLBC) has threatened to smash the office of Deputy Director General (Administration) Sirimali Liyanagama and the management has advised to carry out an investigation on this regard.

The leader of the union Susantha Karunaratne, Thushara Sandanayake, Kaushalya Ranasinghe and S. Chaminda and Thushari have been thus alleged, reports say.

Sources from the SLBC say that the matter has escalated up to the President's Office and the management has advised to punish the guilty irrespective of their political affiliation.
