A seven member team comprising officials of the FCID, CID, Attorney General’s and Immigration and Emigration Departments and the Foreign Ministry is due to leave for the UAE later today (07) to bring Udayanga back home, said police media spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara.
They were due to depart early, but had been held up due to a delay in translating into Arabic the documents to be submitted to Abu Dhabi courts.
The police media spokesman added that Udayanga was presently being detained in Abu Dhabi.
