Police to come under MP crossing over from JO!

President Maithripala Sirisena has agreed to appoint a joint opposition MP who is to join the SLFP in the coming week as the deputy minister of law and order, according to News Tube.

That MP last night (01) met the president for talks, it said quoting political sources.

Law and order minister Sagala Ratnayake has come under strong criticism that he was secretly supporting the Rajapaksas in the investigations into fraud and corruption committed during the previous regime.
