Medicine supply to parliament’s medical centre halted! Featured

The supply of medicines has been halted to the medical centre at the parliamentary complex that provides free services to MPs.

The State Pharmaceuticals Corporation has taken the steps due to the no-receipt of nearly Rs. 15 million rupees of payment outstanding since 2014.

Corporation chairman Sarath Liyanage said they had halted the supply last month after parliament authorities disregarded several reminders to make the payment.
