The presidential commission of inquiry has ordered Perpetual Treasuries, owned by Arjun Aloysius, to submit details of several institutions it had acquired after the controversial Central Bank bond sales.

Justice Prasanna Jayawardena instructed that the information be made available before August 02.

The institutions in question are National Development Bank, W.M. Mendis and Company, Siyatha television and radio channels, Asia Voice Network, and Integrated Media Network, the publisher of Janayugaya newspaper.

Lawyer for Perpetual Treasuries Nihal Fernando, PC, requested that they be allowed to submit the details sought directly to the registrar of the commission.

The request was granted.
