Samarasekara has been suspected over the displacement of Thajudeen’s body parts.
With his turning state witness, the case will take a new turn, the official said.
The AG informed the Colombo high court on July 07 that Samarasekara could be arrested over of Thajudeen’s body parts displacement.
The Colombo magistrate’s court has rejected an anticipatory bail application filed by him.
The Thajudeen murder case will be heard by the magistrate’s court on July 27.
The high court on June 02 ordered strict bail conditions for former DIG Anura Senanayake, who had been in remand custody for more than a year over charges of concealing evidence in the case.
