Jaffna University Science Faculty students boycott classes

Students of the Jaffna University Science Faculty have boycotted classes today (20).

This action was taken by the students in protest against the management’s decision to ban eight students from classes. They demanded the management to list the ban on the eight students.

The management had banned the eight students from attending classes over the ragging of new university entrants.

The first and second year students staged the protest on June 28 while today around 930 students including year one, two, three and four joined the protest as well.
