Cinema halls refuse to screen Spider-Man movie

Majestic and other cinema halls in the country have refused to screen the Hollywood film ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’, reports say.

This due to the film’s importer Scope Cinemas’ having demanded them to sign an agreement that has several conditions.

The conditions include no change in screening times, making payments on time and paying separately for advertising for the film.

Scope Cinemas is owned by one Thushan Rangana, formerly of EAP Cinemas.

Since Liberty Cinema is owned by the importer only it will show the film, reports add.

A trailer for ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ is given below
