According to him, Galoya Plantation Company that manages the factory incurs a daily loss of Rs. 10 million as a result.

Auditor general’s notification disregarded
The delay is despite a notification by the Auditor General’s Department to the company to obtain the license and start producing ethanol to reverse its losses.
That comes after the AG’s Department audited the 2016 performance of the company.
