Four Kandakadu suspects remanded!

The Polonnaruwa Magistrate's Court has ordered the four suspects arrested in connection with the suspicious death of an inmate at the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center to be remanded until the 14th of this month.

Two Air Force Sergeants, an Army Staff Sergeant and an Army Sergeant were arrested by the Welikanda Police in connection with the incident.

They were attached to the Kandakadu center as assistant counselors.

As a result of the death of an inmate at the Kandakadu Rehabilitation Center a tense situation arose on the 29th leading to a violent clash.
