Ranil recommends to reappoint CBSL Governor

Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has sent a letter to President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa recommending the reappointment of Nandalal Weerasinghe as the Governor of the Central Bank.

The term of the Governor of the Central Bank Nandalal Weerasinghe was due to end today (29).

The recommendation of the Minister of Finance is required to re-appoint Nandalal Weerasinghe as the Governor of the Central Bank and accordingly the Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has recommended the reappointment of Nandalal Weerasinghe as the Governor of the Central Bank.
