He has stated this to the 'Lankadeepa' newspaper.

Speaking, he has expressed dissatisfaction with regard to security provided to MPs.

Noting that many MPs are currently in hiding due to this, the MP further states by Ven, Omalpe Sobhitha Thera stating that MPs will not be able to return to their home towns and villages if they did not support the 21st Amendment, the Thera had provoked violence.

Dissanayake has also said that he had not earned a single penny from politics and that he had become a homeless person in this country today as all his hard-earned property had been completely set on fire and destroyed by a mob.

He further stated that the JVP is behind all these attacks.
