Heated situation outside CID as Johnston leaves

Former Minister Johnston Fernando appeared to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) on Tuesday (24).

He was summoned to provide a statement regarding the attacks on the 'MynaGoGama' and 'GotaGoGama' peaceful protests sites on May 09.

Although he was summoned to appear before the CID yesterday, he had not done so.

Meanwhile, a group of protestors from 'GotaGoGama' had arrived in front of the CID premises urging to arrest the former minister.
