No petrol today, tomorrow

Power and Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekara said that petrol would not be available today (18) and tomorrow (19) even if people choose to stand in queues.

Addressing parliament today (18), he said that although petrol distribution will commence on the 20th it would take around three days for fuel stations to commence distribution.

The Minister further said that action will be taken to provide auto diesel and super diesel to all petrol stations in Sri Lanka by this evening.
