The SLRC is located on 3.37 hectares of land in Torrington Square, Colombo 07.

Meanwhile, cabinet approval has also been granted to transfer the land where the Kuchchaveli transmission centre is located, to the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Corporation.

The transfer is made to enable the implementation of a solar power project on that land as a source of revenue.
