SB refuses to take up Susil's ministry

Reports say that S.B. Dissanayake has been offered the state ministerial portfolio of Education Reforms, Open Universities and Distance Learning Promotion, which was left vacant after the sacking of Susil Premajayantha last week.
However, it is said that Dissanayake has declined the offer. Although it is said he had informed the government bigwigs of his reasons for doing so, none of them are specifically revealed so far.
Regardless, it is said that talks in this regard are still underway with the relevant parties.
Change in Agri. ministerial portfolio?
Meanwhile, reports say that the Cabinet ministry of Agriculture, (currently being held by Mahindananda Aluthgamage), is to be given to S.M. Chandrasena.
However, when inquired by the media, Mr. Chandrasena has stated that he is unaware of anything as such.
Reports also say that Chandrasena is appearing to be quite reluctant to take over the relevant cabinet ministry portfolio.
