Speaking at a media briefing today (02), the state minister said that the duo had plotted that the Rajapaksas should be removed out of the picture and one of them should be elevated next. 

 

"Therefore, we clearly tell comrade Udaya and comrade Wimal to step into the fray themselves instead of backstabbing. If you can, contest for the Presidential elections. Because they have a targeted plan to nominate one of them at the next polls," he said.
