According to the survey, Sri Lanka is among the first 50 countries with the highest internet speed.
South Korea has been identified as the country with the fastest internet speed. Its domestic broadband speed is 26.1 megabytes per second.
Norway is ranked second in the list of fastest internet speed with 23.6 megabytes per second and Sweden is ranked third with an internet speed of 22.8 megabytes per second, followed by Hong Kong in fourth place.
Switzerland is ranked in fifth place.
Among the developing countries Kenya leads the pack with a broadband speed of 15 megabits per second.
Australia being considered a developed country only has an internet speed of 10 megabits per second.
Among the countries included in the survey, the country with the lowest internet speed is Vietnam.
