Couple in Pahanthudawa video released ; male suspect a Covid-19 patient

The couple arrested over the infamous Pahanthudawa sex clip have been released on police bail after ordering them to appear before the Colombo Chief Magistrate Court on Sep. 16, the CID says.
 
A 34-year-old photographer from Pamunuwa, Maharagama and a 25-year-old beautician from Elpitiya was released in this manner.
 
The arrested male has been identified as a Covid-19 patient while the female is a contact. Therefore, they have been released on police bail, the CID added.
