At least 700 deaths if no lockdown

An immediate curfew will prevent at least 1,200 Covid-19 deaths in the next 20 days said Prof. Suneth Agampodi · Founding Professor and Department Chair (Community Medicine).

He aired his views on Twitter, basing it on the SLCovidmodel (www.https:slcovidmodel.com) predictions.

He added that just a 5 day delay in lockdown implementation would result in at least 700 deaths, stating that it would amount to ‘involuntary manslaughter’.
