Another consignment of Sinopharm jabs arrive in SL Featured

Two million more doses of Sinopharm COVID-19 vaccine have arrived in Sri Lanka, says the State Minister of Production, Supply and Regulation of Pharmaceuticals - Prof. Channa Jayasumana.

Two special flights carrying the vaccine shipment touched down at the Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA) in Katunayake this morning (06).

These jabs will be administered as the second dose for the recipients of the China-manufactured vaccine, he added.

According to the Chinese embassy in Sri Lanka, 2.14 million doses were delivered today while an additional 1.86 million doses would be delivered on Sunday 08.
