Another stock of AZ jabs will arrive on Aug. 07 - Japanese ambassador

Another consignment of 727,540 doses of Covishield-AstraZeneca vaccines will arrive in Sri Lanka on Saturday (07), Japanese Ambassador Akira Sugiyama has said.

According to a media release of the Presidential Media Division, the relevant consignment will arrive in Sri Lanka as a part of the donation from Japan.

The previous consignment of 728,460 doses which arrived in Sri Lanka on July 31 has been officially handed over to the President today (02), the media release notes.
