53 tested COVID positive at Boosa prison

At least 53 inmates at the Boosa Prison have tested positive for COVID-19, prison officials said.

Inmates who have been sent to Boosa from various areas have tested positive  and those confirmed cases have been sent to Kandakadu rehabilitation center.

So far, 637 have tested positive at Boosa prison.
