The Divaina newspaper has reported that the Air Force has signed a US dollar 50 million worth agreement with Israel's Aerospace Industries to modify the Kafir jets.
Under this program, Kfir jets are to be repaired and installed new parts, it said.
As the government is struggling to maintain the foreign reserves, the air force is alleged to have called for tenders to purchase spare parts for Kfir fighter jets and antenas.
