BP No talks about fuel hike at this week's Cabinet meeting

The fuel hike has become a hot topic in the whole country and especially in the political circles these days.

But the Cabinet did not discuss this hot topic at Monday's cabine briefing.

Cabinet spokesman Keheliya Rambukwella says the fuel hike was not discussed at yesterday's Cabinet meeting which was presided over by Prime Minister Mainda Rajapaksa.

Responding to a question posed to him, Rambukwella said "the fuel hike was not discussed at the cabinet."
