Speaking during a media briefing in Colombo today (28), Cabinet Spokesperson Minister Keheliya Rambukwella said they are expecting the stock to arrive in the country before June 08.
Meanwhile, Army commander - Gen. Shavendra Silva said that the stock of Sputnik vaccines that arrived in Sri Lanka early today (28) morning, will be used for vaccinations in Kandy from tomorrow onwards.
He also said that the vaccination programme would be next extended to the districts of Jaffna and Rathnapura.
