A group of teledrama artistes tested positive after shooting in Mihintale

A group of artistes who were filming a teledrama in Mihintale area have tested positive for COVID-19, according to health officials in the area.
 
At least 11 including some actresses too have tested positive. A group of 35 artistes from Clombo had come to the Ambathalagama village in Mihintale to shoot a teledrama. They had been staying at a holiday resort in the area.
 
They had gone to Mihintale onMay and came back on May 17.
 
The whole team of artistes are now being quarantined at a hotel in Colombo while the owners of the resort are being quarantined at their resort.
