AG writes to IGP over 42 suspects detained on Easter bombings

Attorney General Dappula de Livera has written a letter to the Police chief inquiring about the suspects detained over the Easter Sunday bomb blasts.

In the letter, de Livera has asked the IGP to confirm the charges in writing against 42 suspects detained over the bombings said AG's coordinating officer state counsel Nishara Jayaratna.

The AG has queried whether further investigations are being conducted on them.
