40 postal employees tested positive

More than 40 postal employees have tested positive for COVID-19, says the  postal department.

As a result, post offices in Slave Island, Panadura, Keselwatta and Trincomalee have been closed, said deputy post master general Rajitha Ranasinghe.

Besides, another 22 sub post offices too have been closed due to COVID-19.Also, functions have been suspended at post offices in the isolated areas.
