As infection rising, many positive cases still left at homes Featured

As the number of COVID patients are rapidly rising across the country, it is reported that a large number of positive people have to stay at their homes for days as the health officials have failed to take them to treatment centers.
Doctors and other health officials say the hospitals that treat COVID patients have almost reached their capacity.
The Health Ministry says it is making more hospitals ready to treat the COVID patients.
However, Lankadeepa newspaper today reported that some 394 positive persons are still staying at their homes in the Gampaha district alone due to the shortage of hospital facilities.
