JVP leader filed Writ application (Video) Featured

JVP leader - Anura Kumara Dissanayake today (24) filed a writ application with the Court of Appeal, seeking an order to invalidate the PCoI recommendation to name him as a respondent.

The JVP leader, Attorney-at-Law Sunil Watagala, Attorney-at-Law Upul Kumarapperuma and Attorney-at-Law Harshana Nanayakkara were present at the occasion.

Chairman of the PCoI to Investigate Political Revenge - retired Supreme Court Judge Upali Abeyratne, commission members, the Attorney General on behalf of the President, The PM and Cabinet members, the Bribery Commission, the IGP and the Attorney General have been named as respondents.
