Accordingly, vaccines will be given to frontline workers who are engaged in efforts to prevent the spread of the virus.
The Commander said after the vaccines have arrived at the Katunayake airport from India and would be transported by the Army to be stored in Colombo.
"Thereafter, the task force under Lalith Weeratunga will handle all the procedures with regards to transporting them to other vaccination centres and storage," Gen. Silva said.
