SJB calls to allow burials of Covid-19 victims Featured

The Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) today (23) held a silent protest demonstration in front of the Borella Cemetery, calling to allow burials of those who have succumbed to Covid-19.

They pointed out that the current arrangements pertaining to the final rites of Covid-19 patients, is a grave violation of human rights.

MPs including Rauff Hakeem, Mano Ganesan, Rajitha Senaratne, Manusha Nanayakkara and Harin Fernando, who attended the event, expressed their views to the media.
