Grade 1 to 5 classes to commence in January

Academic activities for students of Grade 1 to 5 in all schools in the country except those in the Western Province and in isolated areas will resume on the 11th of January.

Minister of Education GL Peiris said pre-schools will also resume academic activities on the 11th of next month.

Primary schools and pre-schools have remained closed for several weeks over COVID-19 concerns.
