Anil Jasinghe’s appointment to Environment ministry, approved Featured

The Committee on High Posts has approved the appointments of four ministry secretaries and one ambassador.

Among the approved appointments is that of Dr. Anil Jasinghe, who was named as the Secretary to the Ministry of Environment.

The other appointments approved are :

M. Mohamed - new Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Qatar
Dr. Priyat Bandu Wickrama - Secretary to the Ministry of Water Supply
Professor Kapila Perera - Secretary to the Ministry of Higher Education
M.M.P.K Mayadunne - Secretary to the Ministry of Justice

The Committee on High Posts is headed by Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena met with the participation of Ministers Chamal Rajapaksa, Dinesh Gunawardena, Bandula Gunawardena, Douglas Devananda, Udaya Gammanpila, State Ministers Vidura Wickramanayake, Sudarshani Fernandopulle and MPs Anura Priyadarshana Yapa and John Seneviratne.
