According to the Police Media Division, the arrests have been made in the Modara area in Colombo.

Speaking to media earlier today, police spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana said that this operation will be in motion from today onwards to monitor public movements in the isolated areas.

He said high-tech drones of the Sri Lanka Air Force will be used in this regard especially in Colombo and Gampaha.

He added that monitoring public movements will continue until the restrictions on isolated areas are lifted to ensure that  quarantine laws are strictly followed in these areas.
