Police curfew imposed on Seeduwa police area (Update)

(Update) - Police curfew has been immediately imposed in the Seeduwa police jurisdiction area, until further notice, the Government Information Department announces.

Quarantine curfew imposed in 17 police areas

Quarantine curfew has been imposed in the Gampaha police division and in Kandana and Ja-Ela police areas falling under the Kelaniya police division, the Police Headquarters says in a media release.

Accordingly, quarantine curfew will be in place in the following 17 police areas from today (07) until further notice.

Gampaha Division : Gampaha, Ganemulla, Kirindiwela, Dompe, Malwathuhiripitiya, Mirigama, Nittambuwa, Pugoda, Veyangoda, Minuwangoda, Weeragula, Weliweriya, Pallewela, Yakkala

Kelaniya Division : Ja-Ela, Kandana

Negombo Division : Divulapitiya
