21 graduates with no work paid by SLTB for 6 years Featured

It has been revealed that 21 graduates of the Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB)have been paid their salaries for six years without being assigned any duties.

It is reported that about ten of these graduates are attached to the Narahenpita Head Office and the rest to other depots.

It is said that some of these staff do not even have a chair or a table to perform their duties.

There are 49 graduates working for the SLTB, which consists of nearly 30,000 employees.

However, the Chairman of the SLTB Kingsley Ranawaka has told the media that the relevant graduates will be attached to other areas in future.
