Chandimal had worn a costume similar to the ceremonial uniform of the British armed forces, bearing insignia similar to that of the Air Force.

The complaint urges to take necessary legal action with regard to this costume.

Among those present at Chandimal's birthday party were MP Ranjan Ramanayake, Colombo Mayor Rosy Senanayake and even Harindra Jayalal, who hosts a popular Buddhist programme.
