8 suspended for life over uni. ragging Featured

The University Grants Commission (UGC) has taken measures to suspend 08 university students for life.

The students from Jaffna University and South East university in Oluwil would face this life-long suspension over being connected to ragging incidents.

The UGC has earlier received information that freshmen of the Faculty of Applied Sciences at the Oluwil University were forced to strip as a part of ragging.

It is also said the freshmen were forcibly kept in the university for ragging, preventing them from returning home in the weekends.
