533 COVID-19 cases linked to Kandakadu Centre

A total of 64 staff members including counsellors at the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre have tested positive for COVID-19.

The Army further stated that 533 persons associated with the centre have contracted coronavirus.

Accordingly, 444 persons are inmates at the centre, while 25 are associates of inmates and staff members.
