Oil from Singapore or Malaysia if not from Middle East Featured

The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation (CPC) has decided to purchase fuel from Singapore and Malaysia if fuel imports from the Middle East are interrupted due to the ongoing Iran-US conflict.

The CPC says that oil tankers carrying 15,000 tonnes of oil are expected to reach Sri Lanka by Jan. 24 and 25.

It adds that if the shipments are delayed in anyway, oil will be purchased from Singapore and Malaysia as a solution.
