Danger of building collapse at Castle Hospital Featured

The walls of the ward 9 building at the Castle Street Hospital, Borella, where patients including pregnant mothers are warded, has cracked at several places.

Due to this situation the lives of patients as well as staff members are in grave danger.

In some places of this building metal supports have been placed and it is surprising that patients are being housed at such a dangerous location.

The patients receiving treatment at this ward request the authorities to move them to other wards temporarily until this building is renovated or some measure is taken to ensure the safety of the patients and staff.
