Check with the post office if polling cards are not received

The Postal Department has delivered 12.655 million official polling cards to households for the upcoming presidential election, said the Postmaster General Ranjith Ariyaratne.

It is reported that of the total number of polling cards, 82% have already been delivered to voters and only another 18% is left to be delivered.

“We may not be able to complete the distribution 100%, but at least we expect to complete around 98%. He said if voters had not received their polling cards, it could be that they were not at home at the time of delivery or they may have been overseas,” he said.

The Postmaster General said that if any registered voter has not received their polling cards by the 09th, they could report to the post office which usually delivers their mail and obtain their polling cards by establishing their identity.
