100 arrested with drugs at Facebook party in Dehiwala

A total of hundred persons, including 17 females, were arrested during a raid on a party organised through Facebook at a beach hotel in Dehiwala last night, police said.
Police Spokesman SSP Ruwan Gunasekera said the police recovered 4grms of Cannabis, 38,500 milliliters of Beer and 28 illegal cigarettes during the raid.

The arrested suspects aged between 18 and 48 were identified as residents of Ambalangoda, Kalutara, Kurunegala and Polonnaruwa.

Police said they would be produced in the Mount Lavinia Magistrate's Court.
