Speaking at the Derana Wadapitiya programme last night (21), he said that minister Bathiudeen had stated this during the UNP parliament group meeting.
The state minister further said that PM Ranil Wickremesinghe wouldn't delay the no confidence motion against minister Bathiudeen or ask not to take it up.
He added that although the group agenda was taken up during the meeting, not much attention was paid to the no confidence motion.
However, minister Navin Dissanayake had earlier told media that state minister Niroshan had mistakenly said that the latter was going to vote in favour of the no confidence motion.
