Bahu warns not to underestimate ISIS (video) Featured

Sri Lanka’s Marxist Leader warns that the Islamist extremist group ISIS cannot be defeated by treating them as a mere terror group.

Addressing the May Day event, he said this should be regarded as a serious threat and all should unite globally to defeat them by forming a firm international opinion.

Dr. Wickramabahu said that this year they had celebrated a different kind of May Day confined to an indoor space. He said these attacks on Easter Sunday cannot be regarded lightly as the actions of a terror group. This is far more serious and the issue should be handled cautiously.

Robbery within philosophy:

“This situation cannot be taken lightly as it is a theft within a philosophy. This should be defeated internationally. Those fluent with Mohommed’s teachings have a big role to play.”

The government is charging that these terror group members had functioned with the assistance of former Defence Secretary Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.

Wickramabahu expressed suspicion that this is a planned operation with the involvement of President Maithripala Sirisena, former President Mahinda Rajapaksa, Gotabhaya Rajapaksa.

“There is a question on whether having such a religious threat, the political conspiracy was launched with some sinister motive. There is evidence pointing to such a doubt.”

Karunaratne made an appeal to all parties to expose those involved and unite in order to defeat racism in the country which has become a scourge.
